Location
The University of Canberra’s campus is set in a unique environment, providing a haven of clean air, tall trees and native vegetation, with many different birds, including white cockatoos and resident kangaroos. It also provides easy access to popular entertainment and shopping venues including Westfield Shoppingtown in nearby Belconnen, and the Canberra Centre in Civic, the City Centre.
Canberra’s ethnic diversity is reflected in its multicultural dining options, vibrant nightlife, fashionable cafes, bars and clubs. It is popularly called the 20 minute city by the locals because nothing is very far away! Canberra is very easy to navigate by car, bus or taxi. Coach services are also available to the snowfields, the beaches, Sydney or Melbourne. The city of Sydney is three and a half hours by car or bus and 50 minutes by air.
