Research Strengths
Ideally located within the national capital, the University of Canberra conducts research across a broad spectrum of areas, and engages closely with businesses and government agencies both nationally and internationally. The research focus within the University provides quality training and support to postgraduate students.
The University offers a range of opportunities for study at the postgraduate research level. Research courses include PhD (Doctor of Philosophy), Professional Doctorate and Masters by Research. Supervision is provided by members of the academic staff who are active researchers in their field.
Students interested in pursuing research at the University can contact the Research Students' Office (RSO) which oversees the management and awarding of research higher degrees (HDR's).
