The UQ Library
The Library at UQ has one of the largest university library collections in Australia. Thirteen branches serve the St Lucia, Herson, Ipswich and Gatton campuses and the Brisbane teaching hospitals.
The Library's comprehensive collections of more than 2.5 million volumes include books and journals (print and electronic), hundreds of networked databases, thousands of videos, and many internet resources. Free training in the use of computers and effective information access and use is provided.
Student Services
The UQ Student Services offer a range of free and confidential support services, which include careers counselling and graduate employment, personal counselling, disability support, learning assistance, international student advisors, and multi-faith chaplaincy.
Clubs and societies
The 150 Clubs at UQ range from academic-based groups such as Women and the Law, to groups for international students such as the African Student Association and social interest groups such as the Electronic Artists Society.
Student centres
Student Centres on each UQ campus are the central locations for assistance with a range of administrative matters. All students can visit a Student Centre, the one-stop-shop for all student matters and inquiries.
UQ Sport
UQ SPORT manages the extensive sporting facilities at the University's three campuses St Lucia, Ipswich and Gatton. These facilities include the Aquatic Centre, Athletics Centre, Sport and Fitness Centre and Tennis Centre.
