Founded in 1910, the University of Queensland (UQ) is one of Australia’s premier learning and research institutions. Internationally renowned for its highly awarded teaching staff, world-class facilities and superior campus environment, 43,700 students, including 10,500 international students from more than 130 countries, choose to study at UQ.
UQ is ranked in the top 1% of universities in all major world university ranking systems. With over 350 programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, UQ offers a comprehensive range of high-quality university programs. Students can choose to study at a number of levels, including bachelor programs, masters programs or higher degree research programs, to obtain new qualifications, or build expertise in specific areas.
In 2010, the Australian Federal Government’s Excellence in Research for Australia assessment confirmed The University of Queensland as one of Australia’s top two universities, measured on a combination of research quality and breadth.
