Admissions
International students are required to satisfy the specified criteria to gain admission into UWA. These requirements ensure that everyone, Australian or international, who enters UWA, shares the same fundamental level of knowledge and skills necessary to do well in their studies.
Foundation programmes
Students may either apply online or download an application form from the Taylor’s College website.
Undergraduate
International students applying for undergraduate programs may either apply through an authorised UWA overseas representative or directly to the UWA International Centre.
Application for Postgraduate Coursework and Research Degrees
Applicants for postgraduate coursework and research degrees should complete either the postgraduate coursework application form or a postgraduate research application form and submit their application to the International Centre.
Applications for International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS), Scholarships for International Research Fees (SIRF)
The application process differs for students applying for either IPRS or SIRF scholarships. Scholarship applicants are required to go through the scholarship website for key dates and complete the online application form.
International research students face various pressures and challenges in conducting and completing their research. The Graduate Research and Scholarship Office helps international students who seek to carry out their research operations in UWA. They address the students’ concerns and stay in touch with them in the early stages of their candidature and also in the final few months before completion.
LACE
Language and Cultural Exchange (LACE) is an intercultural friendship program open to all postgraduate students and staff at UWA. It fosters intercultural friendship, eases transition, facilitates cross cultural awareness and helps students to develop a greater sense of belonging.
