Life at RAC

Students of RAC enjoy the following facilities:

Student Union

The Student Union team encourages students to take part in various activities hosted by the RAC societies and clubs. There are four major balls held each year. They are considered to be amongst the country’s finest. The campus bar ‘The Tithe Barn’ is the social hub of the College and caters to many events hosted by the student union throughout the year from film nights to discos.

College Gym

RAC offers an inspiring range of fitness and well-being services through the college gym which is well-equipped, friendly and affordable.

College Shop

RAC’s college shop meets all kinds of student requirements and sells a wide range of products like stationery, clothing, gifts, mobile phone top-up, books, DVD rentals, toiletries, medicines and much more.

Sports Clubs and Societies

The College is passionate about its sporting activities and offers a range of clubs and societies for sports like rugby, hockey, polo, netball, football, lacrosse and so on.  There are also a range of non-sporting societies including the  International Student Society and the RAC Entrepreneurs.

Career Advice

RAC’s Careers Team offers hands-on advice to students on capitalizing their skills, experiences and qualifications gained at Cirencester. The services offered include one-to-one advice with a professionally trained Careers Adviser, a programme of careers related events throughout the year and the provision of quality information on occupations and employers, including an online vacancy service.

Library

The Library is the central information resource for students on all programmes.  Along with extensive print collections of text books, reports, legislation and journals, the library also has an increasing number of electronic materials, web-based information and e-journals.

Accommodation

There are various types of accommodation on campus, both ensuite and with shared bathrooms. International students can apply for accommodation (after receiving a formal offer letter from RAC) through the international application form. RAC also provides extensive information for students who wish to live off-campus.
