International students
The University of Bristol is truly an international institution having students and staff from over 120 countries who contribute strongly to the international feel of the institution. International students not only enjoy the cosmopolitan nature of Bristol city, with its restaurants, food shops, cultural societies and festivals, but also get to enjoy a truly British experience.
The University’s international advice and support team assists students in several non-academic issues, especially in areas such as arriving in the UK, immigration and social events. A meet & greet service is offered for new international students where University representatives meet them on arrival and escort them to their accommodation.
The University representatives organise a variety of events all around the world that range from British Council exhibitions, private exhibitions and schools tours. This is a good opportunity for international students to find out more about the University and its facilities even before they leave their home country.
International students can access the University’s fee structure and the funds they will need to allocate for living expenses while at Bristol.
