Overview
Kristianstad University, in southern Sweden, was founded in 1977, but traces its roots back to a teacher's training program in 1835. Programmes and courses are offered in the humanities, in social, natural, behavioural and health sciences, business administration and engineering. Internationalisation is an issue of importance at Kristianstad University, whether it involves Swedish students going abroad or international students studying here. The University also provides all students with an international working perspective on Campus. Kristianstad University is linked with partner universities all over the world and co-operates extensively with the local community.
