Doctoral marketing courses – things to consider

A PhD in marketing allows you to specialise in an area of interest, making an original contribution to the field. Choices for your marketing PhD project will depend on the institution and the supervisory staff available.  Areas of research include: marketing theory, marketing policy, qualitative data collection, sales management, branding and forecasting. You will be expected to undertake rigorous research and produce a thesis demonstrating originality and independent thought. You will need a research-based masters degree although some institutions may accept an undergraduate qualification.
