A doctoral course in pharmacology allows you to make an original contribution to the discipline by undertaking a research project in a specific area of interest. As well as pharmacology courses there is a range of pharmaceutical, medical and science PhD opportunities that support pharmacology research projects. You will develop advanced subject expertise and, through a programme of intensive research and practice, demonstrate original thought and discovery in your thesis. You need good academic qualifications although experience in a relevant discipline may be considered by some institutions.
