There are many general chemistry courses that support a wide range of research projects as well as masters courses in specific areas such as analytical, organic or medical chemistry. Through theoretical and practical research as well as classes and usually some core modules you will produce a dissertation. You must have a good undergraduate degree. There are many career options in industry where research and applied chemistry are required;alternatively you may progress to a doctoral course.
