Postgraduate history courses allow you to study in depth an area of historical interest. History courses on offer at postgraduate level include a range of periods from ancient to modern, the history of different regions from a specific town to an empire, or particular subject areas such as the history of art or religion. You will attend classes as well as undertaking independent research, and will develop historiography skills including the use of information technology. You may choose a career in education or research, alternatively your knowledge and skills will be highly transferable.
