There is a range of postgraduate mathematics courses available, both taught and research-based, in a variety of subject areas. Taught courses will develop your analytical and logical skills and most allow you to build your own course from a choice of modules; although there are core modules there are also options from disciplines such as computer science and physics. Research courses may also include some taught modules but the focus is independent study leading to a dissertation. You will be well prepared for careers where applied mathematics is useful or further academic study.
