Postgraduate pharmacology courses – things to consider

A postgraduate course in pharmacology allows a detailed study of the interaction between chemicals and the body. As a postgraduate pharmacology student you will develop theoretical knowledge, research skills and techniques for setting up clinical trials. Course topics may include: drug discovery and development, and ethical requirements for research. You need an undergraduate degree in pharmacology, pharmacy, medicine or biological science, although some institutions will accept applications from healthcare professionals with relevant experience or graduates of other scientific disciplines.
