Undergraduate psychology courses cover a range of fundamental concepts including biological, developmental, clinical, social or cognitive topics. As well as gaining a good theoretical knowledge you will learn how to apply this with lessons in research skills and practical methodology with the chance to apply these in project work. Undergraduate psychology can be studied as a single subject or combined with a choice of science or social subjects. To practise as a professional psychologist it is essential to take an accredited degree course and further specialised training may be required.
