The Montessori Centre International was originally started as the London Montessori Centre in 1971. The Centre is a teacher training college set in West End London. The Centre provides training to students who wish to work in childcare and early years using the Montessori Method of education. The courses offered include Montessori Philosophy, Child Development, Observation and Assessment, Contemporary Issues, Childcare, Good Health Practice, Safety, Nutrition, Food Hygiene, Child Protection, Special Needs, Practical Life Exercises, Literacy Skills, Mathematics, Cultural Subjects, Art and Craft, and Music and Movement.
