Coming to Manchester from Mauritius is the best decisions I have ever made, the social life is great, and all my friends that have come to visit want to keep visiting time and time again. The nightlife is great but there is also so much to do during the day, and so many free things to do, which are great as student ! No matter what you are into there is something for you here, and with it being such a big uni the range of courses and modules available are so much better than most other places. It is also cheaper than London so financially you are better off.My advice would be be serious with your course but also explore other extra curricular activities. show less

I chose to study at the University because it was highly recommended by lecturers at my previous university, especially for the course that I wished to pursue in chemical engineering. Upon my arrival, I attended the welcome events and really appreciated the pick-up service at the airport. Everyone who met us was very friendly and helped us to move into our accommodation. In general, the experience of studying in the UK will be an unforgettable memory for me when I graduate. show less
