The University of Essex was founded in 1964 and is located near the town of Colchester, England. The main campus is located within Wivenhoe Park in the county of Essex and the other campuses are in Southend, Loughton and Writtle. Currently about 8,104 students are enrolled at the University, which include 2,104 postgraduates. All the academic programs of the University are offered through the four faculties, namely, Faculty of Humanities and Comparative Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Law and Management and Faculty of Science and Engineering.
