In 2006, ATSU founded the School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona, its second osteopathic medical college, on the Mesa campus. The Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) entry level program is designed for the student without a physical therapy degree. The three-year program is offered in Mesa, Arizona, and requires full-time attendance and includes supervised clinical internships. The program is accredited by the Commission of Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of American Physical Therapy Association.
