Since its cornerstone was laid in 1923, Adams State College grew from a teachers college into a liberal arts college. Today, students can earn a bachelors degree in any of 16 majors, with 28 minors and emphases. Some of the popular programs offered by the college are in the fields of business, biology and music and the graduate counselor education program. The college awards Bachelor Degrees and Master Degrees; besides Pre-Professional programs, Extended Studies, Minor degrees and Associate degrees.
