Founded in 1880, Bridgewater College is a private, liberal arts college located in the Shenandoah Valley within the community of Bridgewater in Virginia. The College offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in subject areas ranging from art to sociology. The College also offers dual degree programs in collaboration with other institutions, such as forestry at Duke University, physical therapy at Shenandoah University and The George Washington University, nursing at Vanderbilt University, or engineering at The George Washington University or Virginia Tech. A selection of pre-professional programs are also available. The College has approximately 1500 students on campus.
