Central Alabama Community College was created by action of the Alabama State Board of Education in 1989. A publicly funded institution in Alabama, the College has campuses in Alexander City and Childersburg with a centre at Talladega. The College awards the associate degrees in science, applied science, occupational technology, certificates and short-term certificates.
