Chandler-Gilbert Community College opened in 1985 as a satellite of a neighbouring college. The publicly funded institution is located in Arizona and offers general education, university transfer, occupational and continuing education programs. Areas of study include aviation and aeronautics; business and computing studies; communications and fine arts; language and humanities; and social and behavioral sciences among others. The institute’s Pecos Campus is home to approximately 10,000 students while the Williams Campus serves approximately 3,000 students each year. The Sun Lakes Center primarily serves the adult population in the Southeast Valley.
