Founded in 1926, the Concordia University is affiliated with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, located in Northwest Austin. It is a private institution of liberal arts and sciences offering undergraduate and graduate degrees. Concordia also offers an accelerated degree program for part-time students and adult returning students. Approximately 2,000 students are currently enrolled at the university. It offers 22 majors via its four colleges: Business, Education, Liberal Arts and Science. The Graduate department offers the MEd program.
