Florida College of Integrative Medicine is an acupuncture school and is located at Orlando, Florida. The curriculum places emphasis on Oriental medicine technologies (acupuncture, herbs, etc) and clinical practices, along with Western biomedical sciences to support proper patient treatment. Upon completion of the program, graduates receive both the Bachelors Degree of Professional Health Studies and the Masters Degree of Oriental Medicine. These degrees qualify the graduate to take the national board exam administered by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine which then makes the graduate eligible to apply with the state for licensure.
