Established in 1902, Fort Hays State University is located in Hays, Kansas. It's a public liberal arts, state-assisted institution in western Kansas with an enrollment of more than 9,000 students.The study programs of the university are offered by the 4 colleges—Arts and Sciences, Education and Technology, Business and Leadership, and Health and Life Sciences—and a Graduate School. It also has a Virtual College that delivers courses electronically throughout Kansas and beyond.
