Franklin Pierce, a private university, was founded by Frank S. DiPietro and the first class of students enrolled in 1963. The University consists of the College at Rindge and the College of Graduate and Professional Studies. The university offers associate's degrees, bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, doctoral programs, pre-professional and certificate programs. Around 3,200 undergraduate and adult students are enrolled in the College. Undergraduate can enroll on the Rindge campus and students have the option of attending classes at one of five satellite centers throughout southern New Hampshire.
