Founded in 1789, Georgetown University is the nation's oldest Catholic and Jesuit university and is located at Washington, DC. It comprises four undergraduate schools, three graduate and professional schools, professional development programs and certificates, medical residencies and other programs predicated on the liberal arts tradition at the heart of the institution. The different academic areas in which the programs are offered are arts, humanities, MBA programs, human science, international health nursing, liberal arts, biomedical, public policy, general medicine, constitutional, criminal, and international law.
