Imperial Valley College is a publicly owned educational institution located in Imperial County, California. Founded in the year 1962 the College currently enrols around 7,000 students per year. The College consists of several divisions such as behavioural and social sciences; business; humanities; child, family and consumer sciences; information systems; agriculture and many more. Through these divisions, it extends associate, bachelor and certificate level programs. It also offers a number of distance education and community education courses in a wide range of subjects.
