Jefferson Davis Community College, established in 1965, is a public community college with campuses in Brewton and Atmore. The college offers a variety of instructional programs including academic transfer, technical and vocational programs, developmental education, adult education and GED classes, continuing education for personal enrichment, and training for business and industry. The college is divided into the divisions of Business and Social Science; Humanities; Library; Math and Science; and Nursing, Allied Health and P.E.
