Johnson C. Smith University is a private, four-year liberal arts institution of higher learning. It is located in Charlotte, North Carolina and was founded in the year 1867. It currently enrols close to 1500 students. The College consists of 3 main divisions – College of Arts and Letters; College of Professional Studies; and College of Science, Technology, Management and Engineering. Within these divisions, the College includes various departments ranging from music to social work. It also offers special and continuous education program to students.
