Kent State University was founded in 1910 as a publicly owned institution. It has an eight campus system, the campuses located in Ashtabula, East Liverpool, Geauga, Salem, Stark, Trumbull and Tuscarawas – all in Northeast Ohio. Kent State Geauga campus was founded in the year 1964 and serves over 900 students. It provides a wide variety of liberal education courses in areas ranging from justice studies to anthropology. These are offered in the form of associates degrees, bachelors degrees and masters degree programs.
