Kent State University was founded in 1910 as a publicly owned institution. It has an eight campus system, the campuses located in Ashtabula, East Liverpool, Geauga, Salem, Stark, Trumbull and Tuscarawas – all in Northeast Ohio. Kent State Stark campus was established in 1946 and offers bachelors, masters and associate degrees. Students can earn bachelors degrees in areas like communication, applied studies, business management, English, general studies, history, justice studies and more. In addition, it offers MBA, MEd and MA degrees.
