Kent State University was founded in 1910 as a publicly owned institution. It has an eight campus system, the campuses located in Ashtabula, East Liverpool, Geauga, Salem, Stark, Trumbull and Tuscarawas – all in Northeast Ohio. Kent State Tuscarawas campus was established in 1968 and enrols over 2000 students. It offers associate degrees, bachelor degrees and masters degree programs. These programs are offered in areas such as accounting, business administration, early childhood education technology, nursing and so on.
