Chartered in 1847, the Lawrence University is a nationally recognized undergraduate college of the liberal arts and sciences with a conservatory of music. It is a private college that is located in Appleton, Wisconsin. Currently around 1,400 full-time undergraduates are enrolled at the University. Programs are offered in the areas of archaeology, business, engineering, forestry and environmental studies, languages, music, sociology and theatre among others.
