Lipscomb University was founded in 1891 at Nashville, Tennessee and currently enrolls around 2,600 students. It is a liberal arts university and offers academic programs focused on arts, science, business, biblical studies, computer science and engineering. The university offers masters degrees in accountancy, business administration, science in counseling and arts in conflict management. All the academic programs of the university are housed in the colleges of Arts and Humanities; Bible and Ministry; Business; Education and Professional Studies; Natural and Applied Sciences; and Pharmacy.
