About Maryville

Maryville University established in the year 1872 by the Religious of the Sacred Heart is located in the West County suburb of Town and Country just 22 miles from the bustle of downtown St. Louis. The University gives highest priority to academic excellence. It is one of the oldest private institutions in the region and is home to over 3,900 students. This student centered campus focuses on teaching and mentoring students for their overall growth and development.  There are around 1,930 undergraduate students, 1,105 weekend college students and 811 graduate students. It provides challenging and exciting course programs to all. The University offers individualized advising and career exploration opportunities to students so that they have every opportunity to excel in their education and career. Apart from academic programs the University also offers other facilities for students.

The University’s academic approach and campus facilities help students to grow effectively. The 12:1 student professor ratio helps in giving personalized care and attention to each individual. Experienced and qualified faculty members impart quality education in their fields of specialization. The University offers 50 undergraduate, ten masters and four doctoral degree programs. Life at Maryville will help students experience new things, gain new friends and have fun with each other. The clubs and organizations provide opportunities for personal growth and involvement. Various activities are organized for students to make use of their time well while on campus.

Friendly community and great experience in learning.

Maryville is the best educational community to get involved. For me as international student, it was easy for me to make friends and join the first year experience center which introduce me to Maryville. It is really good experience joining Maryville.
