The Mesa State College was founded in 1925 as Grand Junction State Junior College and is located in Grand Junction, Colorado. It enrolls around 6,260 students and offers a broad array of baccalaureate majors, with numerous areas of concentration, and two masters degrees. Programs are offered in the fields of Art, Business, Health Sciences, Music, Theater, etc. Mesa State also has a two-year division, Western Colorado Community College or WCCC, which was created in 2005.
