Home to more than 700 student organizations, MSU has something for everyone. No matter what the students are interested in, they’re bound to find at least one organization they want to join.

Career Support

Each year, nearly 600 top organizations conduct more than 15,000 interviews on the MSU campus. Recent interviewers included Boeing, Campbell-Ewald Advertising, Daimler-Chrysler, General Electric, IBM, Morgan Stanley, PepsiCo, Peace Corps, Pfizer, Teach for America and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

MSU’s Career Services Network aids students with a range of services, including career advising, deciding on a major, attaining internships and finding full-time work or graduate study opportunities.

Students can use Handshake to view job postings, manage on-campus interviews, schedule advising appointments and learn about upcoming workshops and events.

There are also more than 17,000 student employee positions right on campus.

International Resident Scholarships

  • Global Neighbors Scholarship- Awarded to a limited number of academically talented applicants; USD 6,000 annually for eight semesters.
  • Global Spartan Scholarship- Awarded to a limited number of academically talented students; USD 1,000 annually for two semesters.
  • Red Cedar Scholarship- Awarded to dependents or grandchildren of MSU alumni; USD 3,000 annually for eight semesters.
  • Presidential Study Abroad Scholarship- Awarded for use with an MSU-sponsored or cosponsored study abroad program outside of the United States; USD 3,000 or USD 5,000, depending on the length of the program.

Michigan rocks!
