The Midwestern University was founded in 1900 as the American College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery and was incorporated in Chicago, Illinois. The university has another campus that is located in Glendale, Arizona. It is an independent corporation organized primarily to provide undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate education in the health sciences. The programs they offer in Downers Campus are Osteopathic Medicine, Pharmacy, Physician Assistant Studies, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Biomedical Sciences and Clinical Psychology.
