The Misericordia University was founded in 1924 by the Religious Sisters of Mercy. The campus is in Dallas, Pennsylvania. Currently a total of 2,355 are enrolled in the university.The university offers 30 majors in 3 Academic Colleges: Arts and Sciences; Health Sciences; and Professional Studies and Social Sciences. Misericordia offers master's degrees in nursing, education, business and organizational management. The physical therapy program is a six and one half year program resulting in a bachelor's degree and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
