Norfolk State University was founded in the year 1935. It is a public institution located in Norfolk, Virginia. It enrols more than 6,000 students. The University consists of several schools dealing with the academic disciplines of Education, Liberal Arts, Social Work, Business and Science, Engineering and Technology. These schools offer associate, bachelors, masters and doctoral degree courses in a variety of areas such as tourism, hospital management, finance information management, allied health, political science, music, computer science and biomedical sciences.
