Northwestern Oklahoma State University was originally established 1897 as the Northwestern Territorial Normal School having its main campus in Alva, Oklahoma. The university has its satellite campuses in Enid and Woodward and approximately 2,060 students are enrolled every year. It offers a range of bachelors degree programs in Arts, Science, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Accounting and Education. Degrees in pre-professional fields, teaching fields and masters degree programs in Education and Counseling Psychology are also offered here.
