Founded in 1941, Otero Junior College is located on a 40-acre campus on the southern edge of La Junta, Colorado. The students represent a diverse population, with an enrollment of approximately 1,600 students at the college. The various programs of the college are delivered by the Arts Department, Business Technologies Department, Nursing Department, Math & Science Department and Service Occupations Department. The college awards the Associate of Arts Degree, Associate of Science Degree, Associate of General Studies, Associate of Applied Science and AAS Degree of Nursing.
