Paine College, located in a 57-acre campus, is a private historically black College in the heart of Augusta, Georgia. Paine College, established in 1882, has affiliations with the united methodist church and the Christian methodist episcopal church. The main campus holds residence halls, classroom buildings, and the library. The rear campus area is home to an athletic field, gymnasium, tennis court, and the chapel/music building.
