Portland Community College, a public institution, was established in 1961. The College is located in Portland, Oregon and had a total headcount of 86,730 students in 2007-08. The College offers associate degrees and certificates in accounting, biology, bioscience, technology, business administration, chemistry, dance, environmental studies, geology, graphic design, journalism and theatre arts among others. The College operates out of three main campuses in Portland – the Cascade Campus, the Rock Creek Campus and the Sylvania Campus and several other learning centres throughout the region.
