Randolph College, established in 1891, was one of the top institutions of higher learning for women. The official new name came into existence in 2007, part of the historic decision to admit men for the first time into the class of 2011. The College offers more than 50 major and minor programs, which include seven pre-professional programs in law, medicine, education, physical education and health, and business, and cooperative career programs in engineering and nursing.
