Rockford College (then Rockford Female Seminary) was established in 1844 by Rev. Aratus Kent. The college is located at Rockford, Illinois and has a current enrollment of 816 students. It offers pre-professional and undergraduate programs with more than 70 majors, minors and concentrations. Two graduate programs (master of arts in Teaching and MBA) are offered. Programs in varied fields like Biochemistry, Computer Science, Classics, Special Education, Psychology, Music, Humanities, Mathematics, Theatre Arts, Nursing, etc are conducted.
