Samra University, a private non-profit corporation, is located at Los Angeles California. In 1979, Samra became the first school of Oriental Medicine to receive Full Institutional Approval by the California State Department of Education. The school offers the Master of Oriental Medicine degree program. Classes offered include Chinese Medical Theory, Acupuncture Theory, Chinese Herbology, and clinical work, along with the basic sciences, anatomy and physiology; all classes are taught separately in three languages: English, Mandarin Chinese and Korean.
