School of Visual Art is a private institution located in New York City, New York. It was established in 1947 and is divided into the graduate and undergraduate division. Currently around 3,700 students are enrolled at the School. The College offers undergraduate programs in Advertising, Animation, Cartooning, Computer Art, Film & Video, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Design, Photography, and Visual and Critical Studies. In addition to these, graduate programs are offered in 12 areas, some of which are Art Education, Art Criticism and Writing, Computer Art, Art Therapy, Interaction Therapy and Digital Photography.
